Update: Breakfast (must have purchased appropriate ticket) starts at 9. Introduction at 1010. Films start at 1020. General admission tickets available at the door (pay by credit card)

JSSKA is having a “Holiday” party (post holidays), and you’re invited. Get your tickets here — https://www.jsska.org/holiday-event-films-and-food/ We’ll be showing a few paddling films and having some social time, with something to eat both before the films (coffee and Danishes) and at lunch (catered sandwiches). Tickets $15 for JSSKA members, $15 general admission (no food. Non-member tickets with food are no longer available).

Certainly, everyone will want to catch up and talk about what they just saw on the big screen.

The films have something awesome, inspiring, gut-wrenching or heart-plucking for everyone – sea kayak, white water, SUP and canoe; cold oceans, big waves, crazy wind and polluted water; comedians, indigenous paddlers, pack rafting angler ladies, adaptive paddlers, a white water female “rock star,” and a Guinness World Record holder.

The theatre has a big screen and great sound. The social area is big and bright and has a great view. These pictures from the Rutgers Eco Complex’s website don’t do it justice.

Also, Marshall Seddon from The River Connection store in Hyde Park, N.Y. will exhibit new boat models from P&H, Stellar and others along with paddles and other cool gear.
