Comments:

Although there are no facilities, the refuge headquarters is another 8/10 mile north on CR 565 on the left, where restrooms are available. This is a nice quiet stream, current is mild and there are a bunch of strainers in the beginning but still navigatable for the 7 miles to Bassett Bridge putout. Launch is a basically a riverside launch with a grass lip and very clay like bottom. Be careful of small wheeled kayak carts if you choose to use them if field is wet.
