Paulinskill Lake is a narrow lake trapped between two mountains. Roughly 3 miles long, the northern half is undeveloped and where the launch site is, within the wildlife management area. Once you cross CR 622 however the scenery changes to residential. All land south of this point is private so you need to remain in the boat. There is a private swim area at the dam at the southern end.
